Free Teen Yoga ~ Level All

Theresa McLaren

Theresa's first experience of yoga was at a local gym amidst the chaos of clanking weight-lifting equipment. She fell in love with the practice as she moved to a cozy studio in Northern California and found yoga a great compliment to her Zen meditation practice. She loves the ability of yoga to help the body find balance and stability, ease and movement in tandem with breath, using both practices to settle and calm the mind.
 

Theresa completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Live Well Studio in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga and completed an additional Pilates mat training. She teaches flow yoga, Pilates and core classes; her classes blend a little of each concept, with the addition of fun and joy. Classes are accessible to all levels, yet challenging, leaving you enlivened and renewed.

Amy Singh

As a teacher, Amy is committed to an ongoing refinement of her teaching style and skills in order to meet the needs of her students. By providing a balance of effort and ease, students have a chance to discover and reflect on the potent parts of their practice. This balance gives Amy’s classes a focus on strength and stability with a nurturing undercurrent. Yoga has been tool for Amy as her body and soul have changed and shifted with the ebbs and flows of life’s tide. Yoga acts as the compass that gently guides her into new territory. During a class with Amy you can anticipate the opportunity to play and explore yoga asana and movements as well as finding a moment of calm and stillness in the beautiful chaos of life. Amy completed her 200 Hour training at Live Well Studio.

Brianne LaBauve

"What IS yoga" is a question I find myself asking daily. I learned a simple concentration practice in 2005 that lead to a daily meditation practice and studying of various spiritual texts. I began a improvisational dance practice around the same time and until about two years ago danced five days a week. I love movement, I love meditation and found a synchronicity of the two as I began practicing yoga regularly six years ago. My Asana teachers have been Pamela Maldenado in Northern California, Shiva Rea in Los Angeles and Elan Adams in Denham Springs, Louisiana. I received my 200-hr. teacher certification in Vinyasa Flow a year and a half ago in Louisiana and hope to share the vividness, passion and rejuvenation that I have discovered on the mat. My teaching style incorporates my roots in Ashtanga yoga, a new-found interest in Anusara yoga, and the fluidity and grace learned from years of dancing. I strive to meet students wherever they are at, with presence, commitment and love, and ultimately hope to serve as a guide to the teacher within.
