Amy Singh

As a teacher, Amy is committed to an ongoing refinement of her teaching style and skills in order to meet the needs of her students. By providing a balance of effort and ease, students have a chance to discover and reflect on the potent parts of their practice. This balance gives Amy’s classes a focus on strength and stability with a nurturing undercurrent. Yoga has been tool for Amy as her body and soul have changed and shifted with the ebbs and flows of life’s tide. Yoga acts as the compass that gently guides her into new territory. During a class with Amy you can anticipate the opportunity to play and explore yoga asana and movements as well as finding a moment of calm and stillness in the beautiful chaos of life. Amy completed her 200 Hour training at Live Well Studio.



Amy Singh instructs the following:
  • Roll and Release ~ All levels
  • Roll and Release is a self-massage class. Your body is a beautiful weaving of connective tissue, fascia, in which the muscles, bones and organs are suspended in a graceful balance. Patterns of day-to-day life, injuries, habits and repetitive use deforms the connective tissue resulting in stress and discomfort that can make you susceptible to injuries and chronic pain. Using foam rollers and small balls we will massage and release the connective tissue allowing more ease and comfort in the body. We compliment our practice with breathing exercises and guided meditation to help the body completely de-stress.

  • Chair Yoga ~ Level 0 ($7 suggested donation)
  • Chair Yoga provides the benefits of yoga to all bodies and is well suited to those with medical or physical limitations. Yoga poses are adapted so that all bodies can benefit from the strengthening, flexibility, balance and grace that yoga develops. Much of the practice is done while seated in a folding chair. You do not need to be able to get yourself to the floor or to stand for extended periods of time to practice. Yoga’s breathing and gentle movement help ease pain, maintain comfort, decrease stress and improve overall health throughout life. All are welcome.

  • Flow Yoga ~ Level All
  • Flow yoga (level all) synchronizes movement with breath as yoga postures flow from one to the next. This all levels class moves as a flowing practice. Students learn new poses through experience and guidance while in the midst of ‘a practice’. Class may include inversions and arm balances along with sun salutes, standing poses, back bends, forward bends, meditation and relaxation. Meditation and savasana bound the practice.
