Miranda Knox is blessed with the opportunity to teach and practice Pilates at Live Well Studio. She had always heard of it, but as a yoga teacher she was slightly skeptical to split her energy between the two. It was not until working at Live Well Studio that she was given the opportunity to fall in love with Pilates. She began training with Kristina Ender, Antigone Cook, and Sussanne Maleki. Her interest in Pilates mat encouraged her to merge pilates into her yoga classes, and she began teaching a mixed style class called, Core Flow Yoga. When she began teaching pilates equipments her natural ability to inspire concentration, alignment, and health blossomed. She is currently training with Shelly Stephensen of Balanced Body to complete her official certification. Her private classes are offered at a Pilates Apprentice rate. She incorporates her knowledge as a yoga teacher, fitness teacher, and pilates teacher to help students achieve their wellness goals. Click here for fun facts about Miranda.
Mishele Mennett grew up as a ballet, jazz, and modern dancer. She trained in L.A. with Jillian Hessel, who was trained by Carola Trier and Kathy Grant, both direct protégés of Joseph Pilates. She’s opened the first Pilates Studio ever in Corvalls, and has lots of experience using Pialtes as a rehabilitative tool. Mishele also worked as an L.M.T., as a Certified Laba Movement Analyst, and she’s taught Pilates as several Universities. I bring an in-depth experience of working with bodies, both trained and untrained, at the pinnacle and in pain. Everything I have learned creates a synergy that I now call Core Moves.
