Oliver Pijoan

Oliver, a retired doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is a master teacher of tai chi with more than 40 years of tai chi experience. He has taught many classes and workshops both in Colorado and Oregon. Oliver began studying Wu style tai chi with John Menken in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1974, Yang style in the early 1990’s and then Cheng Man-ch'ing style beginning in 1999. He follows a strong lineage of teachers including Benjamin Lo, Tam Gibbs (direct students of Professor Cheng), Michael Stenson (a second generation teacher of Professor Cheng) and other notable instructors. Bringing his deep understanding of TCM and his humor, his classes are uniquely meaningful and fun.

  • Tai Chi
  • Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. 
     
    4 Free Demo Classes will run in January 2019 as follows:
     
    Sunday, January 6 at 2 pm
    Tuesday, January 15 at 7 pm
    Tuesday, January 22 and 29 at 4 pm
     
     
    Class will begin on a 12 week series on Tuesday, February 5.
    $75/month
    $225 for full 3 month series
